Villa Estrella Pavones sits at the southern tip of Costa Rica's Pacific coast, where the rainforest meets the Golfo Dulce. We're minutes from the Pavones surf break and the village's local supermarket — and a short walk to La Pina beach in front of the property.

We are a no-pet property to keep our common spaces clean and allergen-free for every guest. We appreciate your understanding.
Yes. We have onsite parking inside our gated property at no extra cost. There's space for cars, ATVs, motorcycles, and surfboards.
A walking trail directly in front of the property leads to La Pina beach in under 5 minutes. The famous Pavones Point is a 2-minute drive or 10 minute walk away, and other regional surf breaks are 5–15 minutes by car.
We recommend every group has at least one vehicle (car, ATV, or motorcycle) for easy access to the supermarket, surf, and other activities. While everything is within walking distance, having transportation makes the trip much more convenient. A 4x4 vehicle is not necessary to reach our property but is recommended.
Two options. You can drive about 7 hours from San José, or take a 1-hour Sansa flight to Golfito and a 1.5-hour drive from there to the property. Rental cars are available in Golfito. Reach out and we'll happily help arrange transfers either way.
Meals aren't included, but each villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meals. We can also arrange a private local chef at an additional cost, perfect for a special dinner or simplifying your stay. Reach out for menus and pricing.
Smoking is not permitted inside any of the villas to keep the indoor spaces fresh and comfortable for every guest. Designated outdoor areas are available if you wish to smoke.
We are a no parties property and ask all guests to keep noise to a respectful level. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Outside of those hours, music, conversation, and gatherings are welcome at a normal volume.
Villas 1, 2, and 3 are each fully equipped with their own washer and dryer for guest use throughout your stay. Villa 4 does not include laundry on site, but our team can take care of laundry for you at an additional cost. Just let us know and we will arrange it.
Yes. We welcome larger groups to book the full property for surf retreats, yoga retreats, family reunions, and other special occasions. The entire property has 9 bedrooms with 5 king beds and 7 full beds, comfortably hosting up to 17 guests at once. Reach out and we will help with availability, scheduling, and any custom planning your group needs.
